CWT Assists with 1.9 Million Pounds of Cheese and Butter Export Sales

Cooperatives Working Together (CWT) has accepted eight requests for export assistance from Dairy Farmers of America and Northwest Dairy Association (Darigold), who have contracts to sell 1.830 million pounds (830 metric tons) of Cheddar, Gouda and Monterrey Jack cheese, and 110,231 pounds (50 metric tons) of butter to customers in Asia, the Middle East and Oceania. The product has been contracted for delivery in the period from August through December 2016.
