Delivery of 500 tons of damaged milk powder from Argentina

This cargo of 500 tons of milk powder worth 206 million DA, imported from Argentina by a public operator, was banned from admission by border control services to the dry port of Es-Sénia due to damage, told the APS the chief of service monitoring, control and planning at the Regional Directorate of Commerce of Oran, Fouad Helaïli.
This foodstuff, which is unfit for consumption according to a report by the border control services at the dry port of Es-Sénia, will be either re-exported or destroyed locally, the same official said.
In addition, a shipment of 18 tonnes of cleaning products (deodorants) from Spain, worth 7.5 million DA, was also repressed in mid-November, also at the dry port of Es-Sénia, by border control services, In the absence of Arabic-language labelling, the same source was reported.
At the port of Oran, a shipment of 4 tons of clothing and sandals worth 9 million DA from Italy was also refused admission to the current month of November, for lack of labelling in the national language, it was noted from the same source.
The Regional Directorate of Commerce of Oran brings together the wilayas of Oran, Mostaganem, Sidi Bel-Abbes, Aïn Northwestern and the region.
