First up Rob Hewett: The chairman of Silver Fern Farms says it’s full steam ahead following the vote to once again strongly endorse the 50/50 joint venture with Shanghai Maling.
Damien O’Connor is up next. Labour’s Primary Industry Spokesman defends his party’s broad church and slams the Silver Fern Farms deal with Shanghai Maling.
Then we have a GDT update with John Wilson. The Fonterra chairman says the great GDT result was the result of tightening global supply as a genuine recovery for the dairy industry appears to be on the cards.
Emma Higgins is a Rabobank Dairy Analyst who urges caution despite the stellar Global Dairy Trade auction which resulted in a 19% lift in the price of whole milk powder.
Finally we have a double header for you with Paul Allison and his brilliant Olympic trivia. Paul is one of New Zealand’s leading sporting statisticians.
First up it’s the inspirational story of US runner Betty Robinson runner and escapades of the Tunisian pentathlon team.
Then we round off the show with the tale of the one-legged gymnast, a good walk spoiled and Eric the Eel.
