The forum is part of an ongoing training module of the ‘Dairy Visible Voice’ leadership development series, which is dedicated to assisting producers in developing the skill set to enrich their businesses.
Trainers will focus on best practices to prepare for an on-farm crisis and is geared towards owners and key employees looking to engage with consumers and media.
As part of the training, dairy farmers will learn how to identify and rank potential crises and lay a foundation for a crisis preparedness plan. They will also learn what and how information should be communicated during crisis.
The trainings will be held at Pagels Ponderosa Dairy near Kewaunee, and at Boon Farms by Greenwood from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required due to limited space for this training module.
