This 90-cow dairy farm has been grazing since 1992, and are well known for their successful operation based on having animals on well managed pastures. Nate and Paul are also working with the Wisconsin School for Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship program as Paul’s family transitions the farm to Nate.
This event will feature Dr. Jacob Prater, professor of Solid and Waste Resources at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, who will talk about soil productivity, soil biomes, and how grazing increases soils productivity over time.
