The company recently signed a deal with a fresh milk processor for 20 million litres of milk.
In an introductory price letter to attract suppliers, the co-op’s executive officer Greg Griffith said the price plus incentives will provide suppliers of ADFC in 2013/14 season with an average total price of $6.20 per kilogram milk solids equivalent or 44.67cpl based on a reference litre of 4.0 per cent butterfat and 3.2 per cent protein.
The company details in the letter it will offer suppliers one- or two-year supply contracts with two base price options – a flat monthly milk price or a variable month milk price.
