Eamon Duignan from Cornafean, Co Cavan, has been appointed as member relations manager at Lakeland Dairies.
Duignan studied agricultural science at UCD and holds a diploma in management from the Irish Management Institute. He joined Lakeland in 2014 when we took up a role in the member relations department as part of the co-op’s graduate programme. He replaces the recently retired Dermot Coyle.
“Our priority is to ensure long-term and sustainable success for all of our milk producers and we will continue to work closely with them in achieving this aim,” Duignan said.
He said that he looked forward to developing Lakeland’s member relations programmes to provide information and advice to the co-op’s milk producers across 15 counties in Ireland.
“Meeting the needs of our many dairy customers worldwide begins on local milk-supplying farms where we are fortunate to have a very high quality of milk supplied for processing,” Duignan said.
