Death of Dairies: Jason VanderKooy and Harmony Dairy

Jason traces his family history in dairy farming back to Holland and the 15th century. That history of family farming will come to an end if Puget Soundkeeper Alliance and their friends have their way.

They want to impose massive new regulations that would cost Jason about $1.5 million, a cost that would end the farm. Worse, the regulations would do almost nothing to protect or improve our environment, instead by causing the loss of about 400 family dairy farms would contribute greatly to the urbanization that is the real cause of environmental harm.
