Daily Dairy Trading: Cheddar Barrels Finish Week 5.5 Cents Lower, Friday

US – Cheddar barrels finished the week 5.5 cents lower on $1.7175, down from Monday’s close of $1.7725 and down on the prior week average of $1.7700.
Spot prices saw further drops in Butter, which lost 0.75 cents closing on $1.5000 – under the week’s average of $1.5160.
Grade A standards of Non-fat Dry Milk closed down 0.5 cents to $1.7300 on Friday and after four trades through the week.
Friday’s Cheddar Block values closed unchanged on $1.7250 – this was below the prior week average of $1.7360.
Extra grade remained unchanged on $1.7000.
Class III futures saw a 2 cents gain on Friday with Class IV unchanged for June.
June Cheese closed on $1.7770.
