US – Dairy cash trading started the week with movement in butter and cheese, according to the Agricultural Marketing Service in the daily report.
American Cheddar cheese values closed higher for 40 pound blocks to $1.7550 per pound on Tuesday.
Prices for 500 pound cheese barrels stayed at $1.7225 per pound.
Grade AA standard butter had fallen a half cent to $1.5450 by yesterday’s close.
No change was seen for Nonfat dry milk. Extra grade powder maintained its $1.7000on Tuesday and grade A powder held its value at $1.6800 per pound.
