The union minister assured that within ten days of receiving UCs, his ministry would release funds for the department.
He further instructed officials of two krishi vigyan kendras to conduct review meeting with the agriculture officers at district level every third month and apprise Centre about the pace of Centre-run schemes in Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile, he laid emphasis on making optimum usage of cooperative schemes and promoting organic farming in Uttarakhand. A cooperative-run programme was also organised in Parade ground, which was presided by him and senior officers of the department.
