While the recall does not specifically mention Michigan, the notice was pushed out by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The affected California Popsicle Inc. products were sent to distribution centers in Canada, New York and California between Aug. 3 and Aug. 31, 2017.
«The products were further distributed by customers to various Chinese markets potentially nationwide,» the FDA reports on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
See below for the flavors included in the recall with its corresponding UPC code:

Polly Ann Red Bean Ice Bar, UPC#7-00730-26868-7
Polly Ann Green Bean Ice Bar, UPC#7-00730-26666-9
The FDA reports in its announcement that the products come in cardboard boxes of four each, and that the UPC code can be found under the nutritional facts. Each of the affected products has an expiration date between July 1 and July 31 of this year.
One Canadian consumer complained of an allergic reaction to the undeclared milk allergen, according to the FDA. This is what prompted the investigation and corresponding recall.
Consumers are urged to not consume the product and to return it to the place of purchase. For more information regarding this recall, call 650-745-8092.
