Fonterra suppliers can get the inside running on operating a business sustainably at a seminar in New Plymouth next Wednesday.
Two internationally renowned presenters are speaking to Fonterra suppliers at eight seminars throughout the country.
The seminars, an initiative of the Fonterra Shareholders’ Council, will feature adviser and commentator Paul Gilding and Fairfax business journalist Rod Oram.
Shareholders’ councillor Nick Barrett, of New Plymouth, said the seminars would be an eye-opener.
The two speakers would provide farmers with a balanced insight into national and global sustainability and commercial issues and the changing business environment.
Global customer expectations, the strengths of New Zealand farming, learning from others’ mistakes and maintaining and enhancing economic viability, would be covered.
