#Rabobank Head of M&A Australia and New Zealand Departs

Rabobank’s head of mergers and acquisitions for Australia and New Zealand Amir Colombo has left the Dutch lender, a spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.
Mr. Colombo, who was Sydney-based, joined Rabobank in 2008 from Westpac BankingCorp. WBC.AU -1.78% He previously held M&A roles at ABN Amro and Lehman Brothers.

Rabobank and Rothschild have an agreement to cooperate globally in M&A and equity capital markets advisory in the food and agriculture sectors.
The pair advised the sale of New York-listed Hillshire Brands Co.’s Australian subsidiary Kitchens of Sara Lee Pty. Ltd. HSH +0.72% to a unit of Canada-based frozen food specialist McCain Foods Ltd.
They also acted for Guinness Peat Group PLC GPG.LN -3.23% in the sale of its Green’s General Foods unit to Australia-listed investment group CVC Ltd. CVC.AU +0.49%
The two firms also advised New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra Co-operative on the listing of a shareholder fund.
