Post Holdings Inc. has closed on its $150 million acquisition of the PowerBar and Musashi brands from Nestle.
The deal was completed on Wednesday, according to regulatory filings.
Post Holdings, led by Chairman and CEO BIll Stiritz, announced its plans to acquire the Nestle brands in February. The company said it planned to combine the brands with its current portfolio to form a new Active Nutrition Group with total revenue approaching $550 million.
The Power Bar and Musashi brands manufacture and market power bars, powders and gels.
