Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers: Growing the Next Generation

If you asked Chris Fischer, she would say there is no better way to raise a family than through farming. The Fischer family owns and operates Windy Ridge Dairy Farm, which includes 40 registered Jersey cows.

On the farm they process and sell their own milk and homemade ice cream. With the addition of Chris’ grandson Tucker, there have been six generations of the Fischer family working Windy Ridge. While dairy farming is a challenge, Chris would never give up working with her family and knows how important the farm is to the Beaver County community.
