Kerry has left its June milk price at the May level of 21.4c/l excluding VAT.
The Glanbia Ingredients Ireland (GII)’s base price remains at 19c/l excluding VAT for manufacturing milk at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein. Glanbia co-op also maintains its 2c/l support to members. The 1c/l bonus paid from Ornua funds last month, however, is now gone.
Kerry and Glanbia follow Lakeland in holding its milk price for June. Last month Kerry cut its milk price for May by 1c/l on the previous month.
Yesterday, Ornua announced that its Purchasing Price Index (PPI) for June is remaining unchanged at 81.0 (equivalent to 22.5 c/l, VAT inclusive, based on Ornua’s product purchase mix and assumed processing costs of 6.5p/l).
The remaining co-ops will be setting prices in the coming days.
