Weather
The dry and settled weather will continue, according to Met Éireann. There will be a mix of cloudy periods and sunny spells across the country. Anywhere that has sunshine will be warm – top temperatures of 11-14°C. Winds will be moderate. It’s looking like remaining settled for the weekend too but more on that later.

Co Sligo-based dairy processor Aurivo posted strong results for 2016, with profits up 25% to €3.6m.
Dairy calf births are continuing to surge ahead of last year but pedigree and beef births are struggling.
The IFA has launched its strategy for farmers when dealing with vulture funds. The plan has five key principles.
