Bee and Bubbles steal the limelight at the Wauchope Show

A four-year-old Jersey cow and a three-month-old Ayrshire heifer calf were the stars of the 105th Wauchope Show.

Bee and Bubbles, both owned by the Coombes family, were just two of around 70 head of dairy cattle entered into the show.
The annual agricultural event in northern New South Wales attracted Jersey, Illawarra, Holstein, Brown Swiss and Ayrshire dairy cattle this year.
 
After taking out the Champion Jersey Cow, Bee went on to challenge the other dairy breeds for and win the Supreme Dairy Exhibit.
Meanwhile Bubbles, led by four-year-old Matthew Coombes, was busy winning Champion Any Other Breed Heifer under six months and the hearts of spectators.

Así lo expresó Domingo Possetto, secretario de la seccional Rafaela, quien además, afirmó que a los productores «habitualmente los ignoran los gobiernos». Además, reconoció la labor de los empresarios de las firmas locales y aseguró que están «esperanzados» con la negociación entre SanCor y Adecoagro.
