Agronomy-Ukraine reports Rusagro is working out the final details of a $1-billion investment.
The expansion would increase Russia’s current milk production by a full 2 per cent.
100,000 cows will needed to fill the company’s shipments to China, South Korea, Japan and across Russia.
To keep up with production, a freshly-filled milk truck will depart the dairy operation every 30-40 minutes.
Rusagro’s 3rd quarter sales last year hit $815 million.
