A reserved report by British dairy exporters to which EDairyNews had access shows Brazil’s intention to enable plants in the United Kingdom to supply its market.
It is clear from the document that the interested exporting companies must fulfil three requirements: to include the establishments, to obtain an agreed sanitary certificate and to register their products.
At present, the United Kingdom does not export dairy products to Brazil and it is negotiating with the Ministry of Agriculture of Brazil some of the conditions to allow the beginning of this trade.
